About Daily Vitamin Supplements?
Do you need daily vitamin supplements? This is very controversial, and everyone claims the right answer. One Doctor says this, another Doctor says something different, then come nutritionist, dieticians, and finally the salesman. I'm not going to lie daily vitamins are good, but not needed. When do you need them?
This depends on many things. Do you feel tired? Lethargic? Lack Motivation? Then daily vitamin supplements may help but then it might not. That’s why going to a Doctor is important. These can all be symptoms of something serious. There are numerous diseases that can make you feel tired, and lethargic. How do you get vitamins? Look no further than your diet. Does it consist of a rainbow of fruits, and vegetables? How about meat and/or fish? Perhaps you eat more than the other, or have a special diet like a vegan or vegetarian. Certain diets lack vitamins. Vegan, and vegetarian diets will not provide enough Vitamin B12, not to mention many minerals which are needed by the body.

Having a balanced diet will ensure you get enough of what your body needs. Taking vitamin or mineral supplements once in a while will ensure you have plenty of enough. If your diet is not that good then daily vitamins can be vital to your health and well being.
How’s your diet? Are you constantly eating breads? Sugary processed products? Greasy fried foods? Then I can guarantee you don’t feel energetic and motivated. You probably have highs and lows. Sometimes you feel ready to take on the world, and at other times you barely can get out of bed. If this sounds familiar then the problem is the food you eat. Being balanced brings good health, and tons of controlled energy. With this diet a daily supplement would do you some good, but would not correct the problem.

What's the difference between Whole food supplements and “standard” supplements? Bioavailability, and dosage. What’s safer is the real question you need to ask yourself. Yes whole food supplements usually cost more, that’s because these vitamins have better quality. Your body is able to use these vitamins easier, then vitamins by themselves. The body is a synergistic entity. Your body does not operate on only one source of fuel, it's the combination of many elements which allows you to function. Whole food supplements are the best daily vitamin supplements you can use, because they provide additional nutrients found in food, which allow the body to absorb vitamins easier.

How long should you use them? Depending on your condition a few months is all that's needed for a daily vitamin supplement. However, taking it for several months may be warranted if you suffer from malabsorption problems, or other health related issues where you don't receive enough nutrients from food. My personal experience. I have used numerous vitamin supplements, and usually derived nothing from them. I purchased a daily vitamin supplement from the local drug store some years ago. I remember it saying it “contained” whole food, but the vitamins themselves were not derived from “whole food”. The whole food was put there to help digestion of these synthetic vitamins. Anyhow, to make a long story short, my urine was florescent whenever I used it. This happened because all the B vitamins were being excreted by my kidneys. Conclusion: It’s best to obtain your nutrients from food. However, if you have health related issues or are seeking to regain your health which has diminished from poor diet then daily vitamin supplements, which are whole food would be beneficial.
